Man vandalised the official car of a judge of Thiruvalla Family Court in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, in the court complex. This was an after-effect of receiving divorce proceedings that were not favourable to him.
EP Jayaprakash had divorce, maintenance and dowry cases pending in court. The 55-year-old man was disturbed during the examination and created a commotion in Court. He bought a pickaxe from a market nearby and smashed the windows of Justice GR Bilkul’s car. He proceeded to walk around the car and abuse the judge.
Jayaprakash was arguing for his own case without being represented by any advocate. An FIR has been filed against him for disrupting the working of the court, damaging public property and intimidation. He was taken into custody and is under interrogation.
