It was recently reported that a woman from the Banka district whose husband went abroad was allegedly raped by a man. However, she partially severed the man’s genitalia. The suspect was taken into custody by the police and hospitalized. The said suspect was a 27-year-old man who was accused of breaking into the victim’s home from the roof while she was asleep on Friday night.
She tried everything possible to stop him and when she became powerless, she seized a nearby razor and stabbed his genitalia and partially severing them. As soon as the villagers raced to the crime scene, the suspect was gone.
The villagers contacted the police, who then arrested the suspect. The woman who was allegedly raped informed the police that while going to bed, she had neglected to lock the roof door from the inside.
Banka Town SHO Shambhu Yadav stated that:
“The man’s genitals were partly slit in self-defence. We have arrested the accused while the rape survivor is being sent for medical examination.”
Last month, a similar incident occurred at a Patna hotel, wherein a female learned that her lover, who was a CRPF jawan posted in Chhattisgarh, had been engaged with another girl. In anger, she chopped off his genitalia.
According to the police, when her partner refused to call off their wedding and stated that he was going to follow the family’s choice, the girl contacted him under false pretenses at a city hotel and cut off his genitalia. It was also informed by the police that his genitals had been 60% ruptured and that his condition was still serious.
