Ujjain Horror: DCW Chief Swati Maliwal Demands Fast Rack Court To Punish Guilty

The 12-year-old girl who was raped in Ujjain should have received assistance, according to Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chief Swati Maliwal, who also called for the accused’s quick arrest.

After the 12-year-old girl’s viral video went viral earlier that day, she commented that:

“The case should go to Fastrack court, and such people should be hanged… How our girls will be saved and will study if such incidents keep happening every other day? I would appeal for strict action and the immediate arrest of the accused.”

The sufferer is seen in the brief video walking through the blood-spattered streets of Ujjain City, knocking on doors, and pleading for assistance. In the district’s Murlipura neighborhood, which is within the purview of the Mahakal police station, she was found unconscious.

The Ujjain police have also detained a car driver in connection with the crime, which is the most recent step in the investigation. referring to the same.

On 28th September, SP Sachin Sharma announced that an auto driver had been arrested and that the police were interviewing five individuals who had contact with the victim girl.

SP stated that:

“CCTV footage of the city is being examined. A special investigation team has been formed. We interrogated a suspect (auto driver), but we have yet to reach any conclusive evidence.”

The auto driver i.e., the accused who was arrested by the Police, got injured when he tried to escape from the police.
