The UP Police arrested three men as per the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act for allegedly converting many people to Islam. Mohammad Rahil alias Rahul, aged 22, Museer, aged 30, and Abdullah Ahmed alias Saurabh Khurana, aged 33, were arrested.

The DCP, Trans Hindan, Vivek Chandra Yadav informed the media that the investigation was based on a father’s complaint, that his daughter had been following Muslim rituals. He asserted that one Rahul from his daughter’s workplace had been trying to convert her to Islam.

The police discovered that Rahul was converted to Islam in 2017 and then used his “lover boy image to lure Hindu girls.” The DCP explained that Rahul married her online, although he had already done ‘nikah’ with Abdullah Ahmed’s alias Saurabh Khurana’s sister-in-law, who was also a convert like him.

Abdullah had converted to Islam while doing his BDS at the Aligarh Muslim University in 2014 and had converted other men.
