Prevalence & Experience Of Sexual Harassment At Workplaces: Survey By POSH at Work

This survey is curated and hosted by POSH at Work. POSH at Work is a boutique firm assisting organizations and institutions across India in complying with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act & Rules, 2013 (POSH Law).

Eligibility Criteria

– You must be studying /working with an Indian entity.

– You must be 18 or older to participate in this study.

Aim of the Survey

  1. Extent of awareness about POSH Law
  2. Prevalence of sexual harassment at workplace
  3. Ways in which boundaries may have been crossed
  4. Identify vulnerable spaces, relationships and other factors that contribute towards this issue
  5. Experiences of reporting –
    • For people who experienced sexual harassment at workplace
    • For people who were accused of sexual harassment at workplace

Confidentiality

All information collected in this survey will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of research. Identifying information about the participants will not be made public, or in any way link back specifically to any individual’s participation in the survey.

Voluntary Participation

This survey should take most participants anywhere between 5-20 minutes to complete, depending on individual experiences. Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and you may choose to exit the survey at any time. We do however urge you to consider completing the survey, as each of your responses will help us achieve our larger goals and hopes mentioned below.

Hope from the Survey

Our endeavor is that the results of this survey will help us with the nuanced understanding of not only physical forms of sexual harassment but also non-physical forms, identify contexts where transgressions take place and boundaries are crossed. This will enable us in our efforts to strengthen policies and mechanisms addressing sexual harassment at the workplace.
