About Uttarakhand High Court:

The Uttarakhand State was carved out from the State of Uttar Pradesh on 9 November 2000 under the Uttar Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000. At the time of the creation of the State, the High Court of Uttarakhand was also established on the same day at Nainital. The sanctioned judge strength at the time of creation in 2000 was 7; this was increased to 9 in 2003.

About the Job Opportunity:

High Court of Uttarakhand has released a notification regarding the hiring of eligible candidates for Junior Assistant and Stenographer positions through direct recruitment basis. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released 54 vacant posts of Junior Assistant and 80 vacant posts of Stenographer/ Personal Assistant in Civil Courts subordinate to the Honorable High Court, Nainital, Uttarakhand, and 03 vacant posts of Junior Assistant and 02 vacant posts of Stenographer/ Personal Assistant in Family Courts.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Junior Assistant:

  • Graduation degree from a university established by law in India or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • Have good knowledge of Hindi and English language.
  • Have good knowledge of typing in Hindi on a computer with a speed of 25 words per minute. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on a computer.
  • Have adequate knowledge of computer operations.

For Stenographer / Personal Assistant:

  • Graduation degree from a university established by law in India or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • Have good knowledge of Hindi and English language.
  • Speed ​​of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and typing in Hindi per minute on computer.
  • Have adequate knowledge of computer operation.
  • Have good knowledge including a speed of 25 words. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English.

Age Limit:

Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years. Age relaxation as per rules.

Salary:

  • For Personal Assistant / Stenographer: ₹ 29,200 – 92,300 (Level – 05) / ₹ 44,900 – 142400/- (level – 07)
