About the Internship:

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

    • Develop official letters and proposals
    • Work on counseling underprivileged people
    • Handle virtual interns for the cause
    • Work on making/appearing in organizations awareness videos
    • Work on making court visits and client handling

Internship description:

  • Legal Research Intern: Conduct legal research on various topics relevant to the NGO’s mission, including human rights, environmental law, and international law. Assist in drafting legal memos, briefs, and reports. Analyze legislation and case law to support advocacy efforts.
  • Policy Analysis Intern: Monitor legislative and policy developments at the national and international levels. Analyze proposed laws and regulations affecting the NGO’s focus areas. Assist in drafting policy briefs, position papers, and submissions to governmental bodies.
  • Advocacy and Campaigns Intern: Support the NGO’s advocacy and campaigns team in developing and implementing strategies to advance the organization’s goals. Assist in drafting advocacy materials, including petitions, letters, and press releases. Engage with stakeholders, including policymakers, media outlets, and partner organizations.
  • Legal Aid and Assistance Intern: Provide support to the NGO’s legal aid programs, which may include assisting individuals or communities in accessing legal resources and services. Conduct intake interviews, assess legal needs, and provide referrals to relevant resources. Assist in drafting legal documents, such as affidavits and complaints.
  • Compliance and Governance Intern: Assist in ensuring the NGO’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support the development and implementation of compliance processes and procedures. Assist in conducting internal audits and investigations. Provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers on legal and compliance matters.
