Desi Kaanoon is not just an ordinary name, it’s an emotion. Over the course of a year, we have grown as a community with your constant support and appreciation. Desi Kaanoon is a platform exclusively made for its members and followers and you all are our most cherished and precious part of this journey. We are enormously growing every day, it is your constant support and acknowledgment of our work that keeps us going and helps to push ourselves to get better every day. We started a year ago, with only two members and now we have successfully gained 20k followers. This is a platform through which thousands of law students get to connect and communicate, express, interact, learn, socialise and what not. We bring to you the best, most relevant and filtered content and information which helps people associated with this field in every possible way.
We are also law students and we understand the problems faced by any other law students and we are trying our best to help you out. Law as a field can be very exhausting and stressful, the academics, co-curricular, moots etc. Can drive you crazy and us as law students understand your stories. That is why we won’t ask or expect anything very extraordinary from you and that is why we make learning a fun process by memefying our content so that you grasp quicker and retain better.
Our content consists of opportunities and events, internship experiences, interviews, career advisory pieces and more, with everything being done with the mission to enable informed and inspired careers for young people.
Campus ambassadors are students (undergraduate or post-graduate) who are our representatives basically in the various law colleges through whom we keep a link in these colleges, basically a part of us to stay connected with you all across this entire nation. These are the people through whom we will reach out to every single one of the law students in various law colleges.
Who can be a campus ambassador? What are the qualifications?
1. You should be a law student (LL.B, LLM) in any law college (recognized, unrecognized) in India. It just has to be a law college , whether govt. Or private, whether north or south, anywhere.
2. You should be a proactive person willing to work hard and take initiative. This is a serious commitment.
3. You must have regular access to internet both in college and at your home.
4. You must be willing to do marketing related tasks.
What are your responsibilities?
1. Tell us about newsworthy events and opportunities conducted/held in your college and upload them on the dashboard.
2. Interview the star students and faculty in your college, and lawyers in and around your area.
3. Encourage students in your college (regularly) to contribute internship experiences, law school reviews, and blogs.
4. Help us promote and market our advertisers and our products/services in your college.
5. Write for us! Get a chance to be published on Desi Kaanoon.
6. Help us connect to various people in your college.
7. Generally, promote the Desi Kaanoon brand on social media and beyond!

What’s in it for you?
1. Earn money: When you bring business/advertisers for us, you get 20-25%.of the revenue generated by them. You can also earn money through internal competitions that are organised by us. (Like for sharing the best interviews, or the most number of internship experiences).
2. Get discounts for some of the awesome courses and workshops we advertise/publish on Desi Kaanoon.
3. Get free media passes for conferences and seminars. Meet the dignitaries as a Desi Kaanoon representative and build contacts.
4. Connect with fellow college ambassadors throughout India! (All of us will be connected via a WhatsApp/Slack group).

(Campus ambassadors become the go-to people in their colleges. Our tasks like interviewing star faculty members and students encourage you to go out of your comfort zone, talk and follow-up with people. These things build your communication and leadership skills).

Some other details
▪ Being a Campus ambassador is a voluntary, unpaid position.
▪ 1-5 campus ambassadors can be selected per college (depending on the size of the college).
▪ You are required to work for around 2-3 hours/week. Usually, 1-2 tasks are allotted every month.
▪ We give no task which cannot be completed along with your college, co-curricular activities, exams or even internships. Relax! We understand your world!
