About the Event:
The anti-sexual harassment law of India i.e., Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 will complete a decade of implementation on 9th December 2023. Hence, we are organizing a first of its kind Global Dialogue titled ‘Anvay’ on ‘Harassment & Discrimination’. ‘Anvay’ (अन्वय) in Sanskrit means ‘Positivity’. The aim of the dialogue is to create awareness around laws, rights and remedies available, normalise conversations around ‘taboo’ topics, drive towards inclusion of all irrespective of one’s gender, sexuality, disability etc., see performance of our laws so far, what we can do in future, learn about good practices across sectors globally and look for solutions for positive change.
