About the workshop:
This is the first of its edition of the initiative by Desi Kaanoon in partnership with Law Intellect on the subject of practical aspects of law wherein the guest speaker would be dealing with how to enhance your drafting skills which is the foundation of your legal career. Besides drafting, you will also get to learn about a new dimension of law, a new career opportunity after pursuing law, that no one will tell you about in law school or even in practice, by one who has achieved great heights in that sphere.

About the guest speakers:
1. Mr. Sumit Chander is the Managing Partner at Law Intellect. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 2002. He is presently the Counsel for the Land & building Department, Government of NCT of Delhi representing them before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. He has been the counsel for the Government of India representing them before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi from 2015 till 2018. He was the counsel for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi representing them before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi from 2011 to 2015.
2. Mr. Nipun Bhatia, who is a qualified Lawyer and Chartered Accountant. He specialises in law firm management, legal practice management and strategy planning.
He has worked with various Indian as well as Foreign Law Firms and Corporate Departments, assisting them in managerial and strategic aspects of organizational management.
3. Tarun Gaur, Advocate, majorly practicing on the criminal side at the Delhi High Court, having specialisation in white collar crimes. He has secured All India Rank 1 in AILET LLM 2017. He is one such person who with his impeccable hard work has achieved what many dream of.
