Two Judicial Officials Have Been Designated By The Center To Serve As Delhi High Court Justices

Renu Bhatnagar and Rajneesh Kumar Gupta, two judicial officers, were appointed as Delhi High Court judges on Wednesday by the Ministry of Law and Justice.

The notification released by the ministry states in exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint Renu Bhatnagar and Rajneesh Kumar (Judicial Officers) as Judges in the Delhi High Court.I convey my best wishes to them.”

At a meeting on February 5, the Supreme Court Collegium, presided over by the Chief Justice of India, suggested that Renu Bhatnagar and Rajneesh Kumar be appointed as judges of the Delhi High Court.

In a ceremony conducted on the high court’s grounds last Friday, Tejas Dhirenbhai Karia was sworn in as a Delhi High Court judge by Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay himself.
