The Uttar Pradesh Government on Friday morning released a notification appointing State Law Officers for the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and Lucknow Bench. In the same notification, the Government appointed Shri Anil Pratap Singh, Former Chairman of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh as its newest Additional Advocate General for the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad (Lucknow Bench). Shri Anil Pratap Singh is a veteran lawyer for the past 30 years and has appeared in high-profile cases like Madhumita Shukla Murder Case, Shekhar Tiwari Murder Case, Priya Wahi Murder Case, Ajit Singh Murder Case and many more. He was also appointed as the Special Counsel by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in the cases of the UPPCL- PPF Scam, UPSIDA Scam, Azam Khan Case, and others.
