SAM advises Trip.com Group on a $3 billion share buyback deal with MakeMyTrip

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co provided legal advice to Trip.com Group. Trip.com is an eminent travel service platform based in China, regarding its crucial share repurchase agreement with MakeMyTrip Limited, India online travel company.

The transaction valued at around $3 billion, involved the repurchase of a large transaction portion of Class B ordinary shares held by Trip.com Group in MakeMyTrip. The financial conclusion of this deal underscores the ongoing commitment and collaboration between the two travel companies.
