Sailaja Josyula Returns to Cognizant as Global Head of GCC Service Line

Ms. Sailaja Josyula has been appointed as Cognizant’s Global Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) Service Line, where she will be responsible for aligning the company’s strategy with the evolving demands of clients and the industry.

Ms. Josyula is rejoining Cognizant after working at EY, marking a return to the company where she served from 2018 to 2024. In her previous tenure, she held key leadership positions, including Hyderabad Centre Head and Global Head of BFSI Operations Delivery, playing a significant role in expanding the company’s Financial Services IOA business and its Hyderabad presence.

In her new capacity, Josyula will lead a cross-functional team focused on assisting clients in developing and scaling next-generation GCCs. Cognizant emphasized that her leadership will be crucial in strengthening the company’s position in this growing sector, ensuring a continued focus on innovation, agility, and operational excellence.

Cognizant is strengthening its focus on innovation and talent growth with significant investments. Last month, the company revealed plans to establish a 14-acre Cognizant Immersive Learning Centre (CILC) at its Siruseri campus in Chennai. Designed to train 100,000 professionals annually in AI, this advanced facility highlights Cognizant’s dedication to technological evolution and skill development.
