Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Krishna Dutta Dwivedi and Sushila Dwivedi, the organization has spearheaded impactful initiatives like the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, legal aid awareness programs, and community welfare drives.

Event Name: SAI MAHOTSAV: A Two Days Women and Child Empowerment Program & Launch of the Social Justice Forum
Dates: 6th and 7th December 2024
Location: Sai Dham, Advocates Colony, Near District Court, Manjhanpur Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, India

The event will be conducted in offline mode, providing a hands-on, interactive experience for all participants. The SAI MAHOTSAV is a hallmark event aimed at empowering women and children, promoting legal awareness, and fostering community development. This year’s theme centers on inclusivity, equality, and access to justice. The Social Justice Forum, launching as part of the event, will create opportunities for marginalized communities to gain legal education, understand their rights, and connect with resources to address social injustices.

The collaboration between ISST and UPSCPCR, established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), has strengthened efforts to safeguard children’s rights. Together, they work to enhance legal education and raise awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable communities, with a particular focus on child protection.

Children Welfare Committee, Kaushambi
Committed to protecting children’s rights and well-being, the Children Welfare Committee has been an active partner in addressing child protection concerns and promoting education. In 2024, the committee collaborated with ISST for the Women and Child Welfare Program, ensuring marginalized groups had access to essential resources and opportunities.

This committee is responsible for the seamless planning and execution of the SAI MAHOTSAV. The organizing committee oversees all aspects of the event, including:

  • Street Play and Awareness Campaign: A performance based on the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, emphasizing the importance of girl child education, gender equality, and combating discrimination.
  • Cultural Performances: Patriotic songs, dances, and dramas by school children highlighting themes of women’s empowerment and national pride.
  • Prize Distribution Ceremony: Recognizing the efforts and achievements of children who have contributed to community welfare and demonstrated leadership in promoting social values.

Day 2: 7th December 2024

  • Community Meal: Hosting 10,000 attendees from diverse backgrounds, symbolizing inclusivity, unity, and community spirit.
  • Interactive Legal Awareness Discussions: Sessions on women’s and children’s rights, legal aid, and accessing justice, led by experts from the Social Justice Forum.

Fee Details:

The event is free of charge for all participants. As part of our commitment to inclusivity, a scholarship program will be available to support Divyang (differently-abled) children, helping them access resources and opportunities for development in Kaushambi.
