ombay High Court Elevates 13 Advocates to Senior Status, Including Two Women

On 13th January, the Bombay High Court, designated 13 advocates, including two women, as Senior Advocates.

This decision was made under the powers granted by Section 16(2) of the Advocates Act, 1961, and in compliance with the Rules established by the High Court.

The advocates elevated to Senior Advocate status are as follows:

  1. Rajiolochan Bhalchandra Puranik
  2. Prakash D. Shah
  3. Vijay Dinkarrao Patil
  4. Sunip Kumar Sen
  5. Satish Laxmanrao Maneshinde
  6. Nandkumar Bhagwanrao Khandare
  7. Dinesh Sharad Purandare
  8. Sudesh Manohar Usgaonkar
  9. Sanjeev Prataprao Kadam
  10. Deepa Prashant Chawan
  11. Manjari Dhanesh Shah
  12. Pranav Pradyumna Badheka
  13. Kirtidev Girish Munshi

Notably, this follows the designation of 28 lawyers as Senior Advocates by the High Court in August 2024.
