An initiative called “Boond” was launched by Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court RV Malimath to improve the lives of the underprivileged in Madhya Pradesh. The MP High Court judges have agreed to set aside at least 5,000 rupees from each month’s pay to assist the state’s less fortunate citizens.
At least Rs. 1,65,000 will be collected each month and Rs. 19,80,000 annually with the 33 judges in place at the moment. All of Madhya Pradesh’s poorest residents will receive every single paisa.
The funds raised will be utilized specifically to help individuals in need, such as by buying necessities like food, water, clothes, and emergency aid. During the flag-raising ceremony at the High Court on Independence Day, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court RV Malimath delivered the announcement. He emphasized the significance of the courts giving back to society on a regular basis, not just in times of disaster.
The initiative ‘Boond’ aims to make a difference to the ocean, as a humble drop makes a difference. As this is just a gift from the Chief Justice and serving judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, no donations from outside sources will be accepted.
