Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India has successfully advised Axis Bank Limited and MUFG Bank Limited in connection with the project financing of approximately ₹2,713 crore for a 400MW solar power project in Rajasthan. The project is being developed by ABC Renewable Energy, an entity backed by Brookfield, a leading global investment firm.
The financing deal underscores the growing investment in India’s renewable energy sector and reflects strong lender confidence in large-scale solar projects. The transaction was led by Partner Girish Rawat, with key contributions from Partner Designate Varun Chauhan, Senior Associate Garima Upadhyay, and Associates Devyani Kukreti and Sayali Dodal.
