On 5th April 2024, the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) released the list of the top 10 best government law colleges and private law colleges. The rankings were based on seven factors: academic excellence, research, placement performance, corporate interface, placement strategies and support, teaching-learning Resources, & pedagogy future orientation.
In the list of government law colleges, NLSIU Bangalore and NLU Delhi ranked 1st and 2nd respectively, followed by NALSAR Hyderabad, NUJS Kolkata, and GLC Mumbai.
Among private law colleges, Symbiosis Law School Pune bagged the top spot, followed by Jindal Global Law School, Shiksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, and ICFAI Law School Hyderabad.
