In its 2025th placement drive, The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) has achieved a remarkable milestone. Over 600 offers were extended to 570 students from the 39th batch of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and the 20th batch of the Postgraduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM).
Witnessing record-breaking salary packages, the highest domestic CTC reached ₹75 lakh per annum and the highest international CTC at ₹65 lakh per annum. The institute also reported an impressive average salary of ₹32.3 lakh per annum with the companies offering a wide array of roles across diverse domains, including consulting, finance, general management, product management, sales and marketing, operations, and retail e-commerce.
The placement drive followed a hybrid format, drawing participation from more than 180 recruiters from both domestic and international markets. Prominent recruiters were Accenture, Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Amazon, American Express, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, EY Parthenon, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, Kearney, Landmark Group and other companies whereas the first-time recruiters included Ather Energy, BPCL, CRISIL, DBS Bank, GMR Group, HPCL, Javis, Jefferies, Lava, Marsh McLennan, Maruti Suzuki, Mankind Pharma among others.
The chairperson for Student Affairs and Placement at IIM Lucknow, Dr. Priyanka Sharma, also an Associate Professor in Marketing said, “The recent final placement drive stands as a testament to the robustness of our unique curriculum. By offering a blend of theoretical and practical experiences, we ensure that our students not only meet but exceed industry expectations. With the economy on the mend, we foresee even greater success stories in the near future.”
