After spending more than a decade advising clients on FinTech, digital payments, data protection, and gaming law, Mr. Arjun Uppal has now transitioned his legal practice to the United Arab Emirates. He has been appointed as Counsel at KARM Legal Consultants, where he has joined their FinTech team.
Mr. Uppal began his legal career after graduating from ILS Law College, Pune in 2012. Over the years, he has established a strong reputation in the FinTech space, often working with multinational corporations to build and regulate digital financial services and compliance structures.
Before joining KARM, he held a Partner position at AZB & Partners for nearly two years. His move to the UAE marks a significant shift in both geography and professional focus. He has conveyed that this transition reflects not only a personal relocation but also a continued dedication to FinTech. He also indicated an expanded interest in data protection and gaming regulation as part of his evolving practice areas.
