Puneet Khurana, a 40-year old businessman from Delhi, was found dead at his residence with ligature mark around his neck. He had recorded a 59-minute long video while detailing the mental torture he was a victim of. The family of the deceased allege that the deceased was mentally harassed by wife, sister, and parents. The family even claimed that the wife hacked his social media accounts. The sister of the deceased demanded justice.
The deceased married his wife in 2016, but disputes arose within two years. Soon, divorce proceedings were initiated mutually which are still pending in court. Furthermore, the wife alleged that the deceased’s family defamed her while the deceased questioned her demands.
There were audio clips of the couple’s arguments which were relating to business disputes. The deceased claimed in the audio clip, that the wife had hacked his social media accounts and interfered in his business operations.
Police have taken the deceased’s phone in custody along with other things. Investigations are going on and the family even filed a formal complaint against the wife accusing her of abetment to suicide.
