This year, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam was conducted on Sunday, December 01, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 141 Test Centres in 25 States and 4 Union Territories across India. There is a significant record in attendance for the offline exam, with 96.33%, including the participation of 57% females, 43% males, and nine transgender individuals.
The examination pattern was similar to that of CLAT 2024, consisting of 120 questions with its emphasis on the assessment of comprehension and critical thinking skills along with analytical ability and basic quant knowledge over rote memorization.
In CLAT “UG”, the first rank is acquired by two male candidates with 99.997 percentile with the highest mark of 103.5. Whereas, in CLAT “PG”, the first rank is acquired by a female candidate with a 99.993 percentile with the highest mark of 80.
The Consortium had withdrawn four questions in the final answer key and the answers to three questions were changed in CLAT 2025 “UG” examination. On the other hand, there are eight changes in the answer key for CLAT “PG”.
The Consortium has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee and Justice G Raghuram, a former Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court, has been appointed as Chairman to resolve any grievances candidates may have with CLAT 2025.
The Consortium has notified that further details pertaining to the admissions and counselling process will be notified on December 9, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
