ArbBoutique has appointed Chiann Bao as a Partner, in International Arbitration And Dispute Resolution.
Ms. Bao, a highly respected figure in International Arbitration, brings over two decades of experience. She previously served as Secretary-General of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and has held key roles at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Hong Kong.
Her legal credentials include a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and an LLM in Arbitration from City University of Hong Kong. Bao is admitted to practice in New York, Hong Kong, and England & Wales, adding global expertise to ArbBoutique’s team.
Beyond legal practice, Ms. Bao has contributed significantly to the field, holding positions such as Trustee at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. She has also provided her sevices in the Diversity Committee of the Australian Centre for International Arbitration, advocating for inclusivity in dispute resolution.
Alongside Ms. Bao’s appointment, ArbBoutique is expanding its junior team. The firm has promoted Ritika Ajitsaria, a former intern, to Associate. Ms. Ajitsaria, admitted to the Maharashtra and Goa Bar, has over five years of experience in dispute resolution, having previously worked at Trilegal, Mumbai.
