About Desi Kaanoon: Desi Kaanoon is a social-media start-up for law students. With a current following of more than Seventy thousand including all social media handles, the meme and legal knowledge portal has been a proud media partner for law schools and colleges in promoting seminars, moot courts, MUNs, essay competitions, quiz competitions, conferences, call for papers and many more events. Besides, we have mentored more than ten thousand law aspirants to get through eminent law schools across the country. We have also organized seminars, quiz and article-writing competitions. Our goodwill has connected us with many luminaries from the legal arena.
Skills Required for Interns: Interns can be from any year of law college. They must have basic to advanced knowledge in written English. Subscription of SCC/Manupatra/LexisNexis will be a bonus. Ability to meet deadlines and patience to rework will be appreciated.
Duration: Minimum One month duration, however, may be extended depending upon interest and quality of work delivered.
Perks: Interns shall receive a ‘Certificate of Internship’ on successful completion.
Application Process: Each applicant has to send their updated CV under the title “Application for Content Writing”. They shall henceforth me required to submit a 500-word original writing sample on an allotted topic. Remember, IT HAS TO BE ORIGINAL AND NOT COPIED. It has to be submitted within a week. The selection will be based on the CV and the writing sample.
