In a groundbreaking move, the Allahabad High Court has assigned 225 recently appointed civil judges (junior division) to various districts in Uttar Pradesh using a software program, completely devoid of any human involvement in the allocation process.
The Registrar of the High Court issued a press release highlighting that the ‘Automatic District Allocation System,’ an in-house developed software, was employed for all postings. This innovative approach aims to eliminate manual intervention in the allocation of posting stations.
The press release emphasized the success of the one-click generation of the allocation list, conducted in the presence of Acting Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta and in consultation with the senior judge of the High Court, Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra, who also leads the computerization committee of the High Court.
The release stated, “The single-click generation of the allocation list was successfully done in the august presence of Acting Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta while sitting in consultation with the senior judge of the High Court, Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra, who also chairs the computerization committee of the High Court.”
Additionally, it was noted that a comprehensive notification detailing the postings would be published shortly.
