Aarohi Bhalla Selected As Additional Advocate General For Sikkim In Delhi

On 5 March 2025, Advocate Aarohi Bhalla has been selected by the Sikkim government to serve as the State’s Additional Advocate General (AAG) to handle matters in Delhi.

The Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department formally issued an order confirming the appointment. In court cases before the Supreme Court and other courts, Bhalla will represent Sikkim from the office in Delhi.

Bhalla has more than 25 years of legal expertise and is currently a practicing counsel at the Supreme Court. He has represented State governments, businesses, and private citizens in the Supreme Court and other High Courts since earning his legal degree from Delhi University’s Campus legal Center in 1999.

He has experience with indirect taxation, arbitration, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) cases, and business and contract concerns.
