About Samvaad
A student led initiative, at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, SAMVAAD has been conceptualised as a socio-legal discussion forum to widen the horizons of public discussion. The idea behind the establishment of SAMVAAD encapsulates the 3Ds, i.e., “Debate, Discuss and Devise.” Envisaged with discussions on topics that effect the world, while creating an inclusive bilingual society that provides an ideologically neutral platform, shall be our motive and from here we shall begin a journey of ideas and words, that later would mould actions of individuals, fostering humanity.
The lockdown has impacted us all in numerous ways. But our constant belief in continuous learning has motivated us to utilize this time against its difficulties. While the pandemic may have restricted some mobility, it has led to the creation of new avenues for learning, providing us our current channel of engagement, online meeting platforms such as Zoom and Google meet.

We are privileged to have Prof. (Dr.) R. Venkata Rao, former Vice Chancellor of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and awardee of Professor N.R. Madhava Menon, Best Law Teacher Award for 2018, as our guest speaker at 4:00 PM IST, January 10th 2021.
