The very sedulous and amiable Mr. Prakarsh Pandey is the author of two of Amazon bestsellers in Law, a keen follower of Politics and an educationist, apart from an advocate.
Q. As the proud author of two bestsellers on Amazon, do you think Legal Research and Writing is expanding as a career?
A. I would endorse the view of surging necessity of legal research owing to emergence of legal reforms and comparatively alien areas of law. Research works not only aid the parliamentarians for understanding the psyche to draft concerned laws but also the litigators. Legal research is no less than a energy-enhancing superfood, enhancing legal knowledge everyday and catering to interests of general public as well who might want to read about the topic.
The ever advancing importance of legal research and writing as a legal career can be further estimated by a statement made by Mrs. Rita Bahuguna Joshi at the launch of one of my books. She said that Politics and Law are two careers which demand extensive hard work and research throughout one’s life. Since an advocate is not allowed to advertise himself as per Bar Council Rules, articles and research works authored by him speak for him and his legal expertise very well.
Q. How and why did Politics began to fascinate you?
A. I have been a forever aficionado of the oratory skills of dignitaries like Late Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mr. Ram Jethmalani. The fluency and persuasiveness in their speech is what is fascinating about politics and polticians.
Contrary to the preconstructed views and notions about dirty politics, one can literally witness the intellect dripping off the speeches and issues raised by eminent speakers at the Parliament during debates and gain a better insight of laws, their interpretation and application which is truly beneficial in the long run.
Given the fact that many lawyers have eventually found their way into Politics, a law student; or even a general person for that matter, is least expected to be well-versed with the daily proceedings of the Parliament with respect to important bills.
Q. How has your litigation career transformed you?
A. The primary learning of my litigation career is patience, which I have embibed since day one. There are occasions where your hearing is due and a senior advocate might be arguing over his case for hours, and that may be the real test of your patience. A very much talked about aspect of law is developing feeling of empathy and subsequent determination to fight tooth and nail go secure justice for them.
Law is a profession which teaches you to go that extra mile for a case because if there is no hard work, there is no recognition and no reward which pushes one to strive harder.
Q. What is ‘Into Legal World’ all about and how is it instrumental for the law students?

Q. Would you assist our readers with some tips to qualify the AIBE? Are there any popular misconceptions w.r.t the AIBE that you wish to clear?
A. The fallacy that AIBE is a piece of cake due to it being open book examination is the foremost issue I wish to raise on this platform. Irrespective of the reference modes provided, an examinee should brace himself well by solving a minimum of 7-8 practice papers and being thorough with the bare acts. Moreover, there are various guides available with yearwise questions to ease the preparation.
