The supreme court of India (SCI) is actively seeking applications for the position of law Clerk-cum-Research Associates. Individuals meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications online via SCI’s official website at main.sci.gov.in. The recruitment initiative aims to occupy 90 positions within the organization, providing an opportunity for qualified candidates to join the esteemed institution. To be eligible for the Law Clerk position, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in law (including integrated degree course in law). The degree must be obtained from a recognized School, College, University or Institution established by Indian law and acknowledged by the Bar Council of India for Advocate enrolment. The age limit for applicants is set between 20 to 32 years.
This selection process will be carried out in three phases: Part I involves Multiple Choice Based Questions, assessing candidates understanding and applications of law, along with comprehension skills. Part II consists of Subjective Written Examination, focusing on writing and analytical skills. Part III includes an interview.
A mandatory Application/Test Fees of Rs.500/-, along with any applicable bank charges, is to be remitted by candidates solely through online mode. The fees payment should be executed via the Payment Gateway facilitated by UCO Bank.
