The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced a rescheduled date for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVIII, moving it to December 10 from the original date of December 3. The decision aims to prevent scheduling conflicts with other crucial exams like the Common Law Admission Test Post-Graduate admissions (CLAT PG) and the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services entrance exams.
The extension of the AIBE XVIII registration deadline to November 16 is in response to concerns raised by candidates who found it challenging to prepare for multiple closely-timed exams. The BCI acknowledges the significance of these exams and is committed to providing a fair opportunity for candidates to perform well without the added stress of overlapping dates.
Initially set for October 29, the AIBE XVIII has undergone multiple postponements, demonstrating the BCI’s dedication to facilitating a smooth and equitable examination process. Aspiring candidates now have an extended timeframe until November 16 to register for the AIBE XVIII, offering additional preparation time for those interested in taking the exam.
The All India Bar Examination is a national-level assessment conducted by the BCI to evaluate law graduates’ readiness to practice law in India, covering substantive and procedural laws, ethics, and professional skills. The revised dates and extended registration period emphasize the BCI’s commitment to ensuring a seamless examination experience for all participants.
